Evidence labels

Section titled “Evidence labels”
  • Official: Strange Loop Games, play.eco, official Steam material or official release notes.
  • Data-mined: readable generated configuration or source data from the user-supplied Eco build.
  • Cross-checked: build data compared with official or official-hosted documentation and player-facing behaviour.
  • Community: attributed testing or screenshots used when first-party material is incomplete.
  • Provisional: a useful lead that still requires confirmation.

Version boundary

The initial guide is pinned to Eco 13.0.4. The supplied files were modified immediately after that stable patch and the record families match the 13.0 line. Eco 14 preview material is not mixed into stable instructions.

Media policy

Official screenshots are preferred and stored locally in optimised form with their original URL, subject, retrieval date and publisher. Community screenshots may be used later only with clear attribution and encounter/system identity.

The supplied installation is used as a factual research source. Game executables, DLLs and wholesale generated source files are not published. The guide records derived facts, summaries and small structured entries needed for criticism, reference and instruction.
